Building on the core technology developed for our TW5v2 thin-line subwoofers, the TW3 series combines shallow mounting depth with impressive excursion capabilities, even surpassing the linear excursion of both the TW5v2 and the deeper W3v3 models.
This innovative design is achieved through JL Audio’s thin-line woofer technology, which compresses the TW3’s architecture using a “concentric tube” structure integrated into the injection-molded cone body. This structure supports the voice coil and spider while positioning the powerful motor structure further forward than in traditional speaker designs. Optimized for very small enclosures, TW3 subwoofers also feature our tab-ear mounting design, maximizing cone area within their compact mounting dimensions.
